We need to learn how to build and sustain a healthy and ethical corporate culture for employees to be productive and engaged at work.

Audience

This course is ideal for supervisors, managers, and team leaders responsible for setting or influencing ethical standards within their departments or organizations. It’s also beneficial for HR professionals, aspiring leaders, and anyone tasked with building or maintaining a positive organizational culture.

It would also suit any qualifying learner who would like to earn credits towards a qualification in management on the NQF.

Pre-Requisites

 

It is assumed that learners are competent in:

 

  • Communication at NQF Level 4
  • Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 4
  • Computer Literacy at NQF Level 4

Lesson 1: Values, Ethics, and Culture—Understanding Their Impact
Explore how values, ethics, and organizational culture interact to shape goals and outcomes, setting the tone for success.

Lesson 2: Corporate Ethics in Action
Learn practical ways to apply ethical principles within your team or unit, fostering integrity and accountability.

Lesson 3: Evaluating Ethical Practices
Discover methods to analyze your department against recognized ethical standards and identify key areas for improvement.

 

Lesson 4: Strengthening Values and Conduct
Formulate actionable recommendations to bolster shared values, refine codes of conduct, and promote consistent ethical behavior.
