This comprehensive Emotional Intelligence (EI) course equips you with the tools to understand, measure, and enhance your emotional awareness in both personal and professional contexts. You'll learn the core concepts and four branches of EI, discovering how self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, and empathy drive more effective communication and conflict resolution. By exploring the positive and negative impacts of EI on workplace interactions, you'll see how improved emotional competencies can reduce stress and frustration, while fostering better relationships and leadership outcomes. Through self-evaluation exercises, you'll identify areas for growth, develop strategies to manage emotional responses, and ultimately build stronger interpersonal skills that lead to greater success in all areas of your life.
The Accredited Emotional Intelligence Course is a three-day workshop aligned to SAQA US252031 - Apply the principles and concepts of emotional intelligence to the management of self and others, worth 4 credits at NQF level 5.
This course is also part of the Interpersonal Skills Module of our Generic Management National Certificate Qualification at NFQ level 5.
We've all worked with brilliant individuals, and some of us have been fortunate enough to be led by them. A few core qualities set the best leaders and managers apart: strong business acumen, unwavering integrity, exceptional people skills, and genuine care for those they lead. True leadership is people-focused and hinges on emotional intelligence - the ability to perceive others' emotions, respond appropriately, and regulate your own emotions under pressure. Crucially, this skill isn't just innate - it can be learned and continuously improved.
EQ emotional intelligence training is worth investing in if you want to be an effective leader who leaves a lasting legacy.

The Leading Training Self Mastery Course is highly recommended as a pre-requisite course to this course, as it lays the scientific foundation of how our brains process emotions and how we as social beings relate to others. However, this is not essential.
