The skills programme is designed around a series of topics and includes eight formal contact sessions, portfolio activities, and workplace experience. Learners are expected to manage their study and practical time responsibly, while facilitators assist with contact, practicals, and workplace time. Mentors will also be assigned to provide workplace guidance. Some of the work is done in their workplace between the contact sessions.
It is designed to be presented over at least 25 days, including contact days and a day for the final integrated summative assessment/written test.
The programme employs continuous assessment, practical tests, and written tests to evaluate learners' competence. A portfolio of evidence is required to demonstrate competence.
Training sessions can be done online with a facilitator or in person at your company premises. Please note that this is only offered for groups of 10 or more.
